Please note that my website is up and running. Each instructor for Grocerysmarts has their own website with a passport to get into it. All of our websites contain the same information other than our contact information. So if I gave you a temporary Passport, could you please type in my new Passport now to help me grow my business? And please, share this Passport with everyone, put it on your website, tear the top part of your shopping list when you are at the grocery store and give it to the lady behind you that is wondering how on earth you are getting such a good deal, etc..........
Okay, here it is...... drumroll please..................... g84ccc

Deals of the Week 10/7
Lastnight, I went to do some shopping and made sure I picked up my FREE bags of Green giant Steamers. It was so fun to put 4 bags of veggies in my chart and say to my husband, these are free! He just loves that I am shopping this way now, can you blame him?! My only regret is that I only had four coupons. I am in the process of ordering another five pack of papers so we can have 9 coupons, one for each person in our family. It will be so nice to get nine free items each time. But anyway, I hand my coupons to the cashier and she says, "How much did you say the veggies where?" I said, "99 cents", she says "Oh, I'm sorry, we can only give you 99 cents off these with this $1.00 coupon, we can't pay you the extra pennny". Now first off, I was under the understanding that Walmart would pay overages, but I do know that it is at their discretion. It might depend on the cashier, or the manager that night or whatever. Have any of you had this happen at Walmart or other stores? Anyway, back to my story, I couldn't resist giving her a hard time, so I said, "You really won't give me that extra penny?" now, I've been told that I have a dry sence of humor at times and it is hard to tell if I am serious or not. She looks at me like....is this woman for real? Then my poor embarrassed husband says, "You can reach across the counter and slap her if you want". So I say, "Hey, ever penny counts......but at last, I guess FREE is good enough......sigh.........
It sounds good, but I'm gonna buy a few Sunday papers at the newsstand and try this out first
The problem with buying a few Sunday papers and "trying it out" is that you will not see the whole picture. Manufactures have a coupon cycle where they publish coupons for an item about every 3-4 months so you won't be able to see the big picture unless you try it for awhile. Also, it does take some time of accumulating coupons before you are able to start using them. It takes about three weeks before you will be able to use any of the Sunday paper coupons and then another 3-4 months before you will find that you have all of them. Remember, you are waiting for a sale to match-up with a coupon. I do offer a 10-week subscription for those who are unsure about getting started. Also, if you really are unsure about this, I recommend that you just spend some time on Grocerysmarts.com. Go through the list and pick out the items that you normally use and it will tell you how much you will be spending after you use the coupons.
I just don't have time for this
I hear ya, I am busy too. I am a homeschool mom of nine children. I am involved in my community and church activities, and I teach grocery classes. I don't feel like I have any extra time either. However, saving money is a priority to me. Couponing is a way that I can save money so I don't need to work full-time. Saving money equals more time with your family. Even if you just spend10-15 minutes a week selecting items you intend to buy and printing your shopping list, you are going to save money! Add another 15-30 minutes for clipping and printing just the coupons you need and you will save a ton of money! Grocerysmarts has made couponing as easy as it can be! You will soon find that the your time is well spent. For me, it is a fun hobby as well.... you know entertainment. I get so excited to get all these great deals; I just can't wait to go shopping!
It's just my husband and I, would this be worth it to us?
Because it is recommended that you buy one Sunday newspaper per person in your household, it works just right for everyone. You will still have enough for consumption and building food storage. You will still save 50-70% just like a family with children would. I can't think of anyone who couldn't find something else to spend half their grocery money on. You'llprobably spend less money on the newspapers and less time clipping coupons than a family with children. And don't forget, your children, grandchildren, and friends would love to get a gift basket with all the items you don't use. You can also gift them a subscription to the newspaper!
We don't normally buy most of the coupon items
If you've flipped through the Sunday coupons before and thought that you wouldn't us most of them, you are probably right. Most people will only use 10-20% of the coupons. You will still be able to save 50-70% off on your grocery bill using Grocerysmarts. The idea is that you get the coupon items that you do use for so cheap, that you end up having more money to spend on perishables that usually do not have a coupon. Our family tries to eat healthy by eating more fresh fruits and vegetables and other perishable foods, but there are still several items that are canned, boxed, and frozen that we do use on a regular bases. These are the items we stock-up on when they are dirt cheap. Plus with Grocerysmarts website, you will know where the best sales in Utah are on coupon and non-coupon items. Don't forget that Grocerysmarts is not just for food. Even if you only bought non-food items such as: toilet paper(come on....you gotta be able to use that?!), laundry soap, diapers, shampoo, etc... it would still be worth your time and cost of the Sunday paper(s). And really, it is okay to throw-away the coupons you don't use.... alright, if you just can't seem to throw away coupons on items you don't normally use, donate them to your local senior citizens center. They will send them overseas where they are able to use them for up to two months after they expire.! Also, just because you don't use certain items, doesn't mean your children, grandchildren, and friends wouldn't use them. Think of the great gift baskets you could put together for Christmas!
I can't afford the cost of the Sunday Paper(s)
Some of you might be hesitating to get started on Groserysmarts because of the cost of the Sunday paper. I understand, money is tight right now.... tight because its all going to pay those high grocery bills and gas costs. Lets take a look at the price of a Sunday paper. If you drove down to the store each Sunday and bought a paper, you would pay $1.50 a week plus the gas to get there and back. If you buy the paper from me through Grocerysmarts, you will get it for a special discounted price and have it delivered to your door! Now lets make another comparison. Have you noticed yet that each week, there are items that you end up getting for free? For example, I no longer pay anything for shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and deodorant. These are not the only free items you will end up getting, but I know that these items end up being free often enough that I will never have to pay for them again. Now, how much do you pay for these 5 items for your family each month? If you divide out the cost of a Sunday newspaper by month at the newsstand price, you will pay $6.50 a month. Can you get these 5 items for less than $6.50 with your current shopping strategies? Can you see where I am going with this? This does not even take into account all of the other hundreds of great deals you can get with Grocerysmarts each month. You will get free items, items for less than a dollar, and items for half the price or less than you normal pay for them each week. Now, the question is, can you afford not to buy the Sunday paper? Especially when you get a discounted price from me?! (Shameless plug)
